James leads on risk management at Freshfields, a role in which he regularly sees the interplay between wellbeing and personal conduct. Recipient of an adult autism-ADHD diagnosis two years ago and proud parent-carer to a disabled child, he is a passionate advocate for improving neurodiversity inclusion in the UK legal services sector, and wider society. To this end, he co-founded the Legal Neurodiversity Network (LNN) in 2023 - a grassroots movement dedicated to improving access to and careers experiences within the Law for brains that work differently.
