A&O Shearman; Legal Voices for the Future
Ming Zee Tee (firstname “Ming Zee”) is an associate in the Environment, Climate and Regulatory Law Group at global law firm A&O Shearman, focussing on corporate sustainability reporting, environmental and social aspects of project financing, and other regulatory advice relating to climate-related laws. She is also co-founder and previous chair of Legal Voices for the Future, a collaborative learning forum by and for young lawyers focussing on the climate and biodiversity crises. Prior to her role at A&O Shearman, she worked at The Chancery Lane Project, a charity helping organisations reduce their greenhouse gas emissions through net zero-aligned legal contracts. She has assisted in research on climate change litigation-related insurance risk for Dr Joana Setzer, Associate Professorial Research Fellow at the LSE Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, as well as on the role of “soft law” in corporate governance at the Asia-Pacific Centre for Environmental Law at the National University of Singapore. She completed her BA in Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford, and was then-head editor of Anthroposphere: The Oxford Climate Review, a climate magazine for interdisciplinary critique, analysis, and ideas on climate change.
