Tessa van Soest is the Executive Director for the Benelux Chapter office at B Lab. B Lab is an international non-profit organization that strives to contribute to an inclusive, just and regenerative economic system that serves all people and the planet. One of B Lab’s core activities is supporting companies in a holistic change to become more sustainable by certifying companies as B Corps. Before joining B Lab, Tessa has built a long career in sustainability and consultancy. And since 2021, she also supports the Rights of Nature movement and co-authored the Nyenrode Business University research report ‘Granting Rights of Nature to the Wadden Sea?’. She holds (advisory) positions in boards, including at Stand Up For Your Rights Foundation, where she promotes human rights for a clean and healthy environment.
