Legal professional active in climate law & litigation and U.S. refugee law. Through Climate Court, I report on climate litigation and climate law updates from across the world, especially when they deserve some extra attention. Simultaneously, I also advise on climate litigation strategies and legal approaches in cases. A less-public aspect of my legal work is that I have 5+ years of experience in U.S. immigration law, mostly involving refugees and human rights. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of political dissidents and members of the LGBT community to seek refuge in the U.S. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the above, I also have a great interest in establishing legal frameworks to accommodate climate refugees.
