Jon Elam is a founder member of CMS’ Legal Operations and Project Management team. The team acts as an internal consultancy that is focussed on changing behaviours, specifically around helping lawyers and in-house teams improve their service delivery. As part of this Jon has led a number of a initiatives to improve the data that underpins the firms understanding of the work it undertakes. This has resulted in him recently moving into a data focussed role within the team. Within this he is continuing to drive projects that improve the quality of matter and client data as well as working to break down data silos both in where data is stored and how it is used, with a view to driving actionable insights and change across the business.
