Alexandra is a knowledge partner in the Real Estate Group, and leads on integrating ESG principles into legal services for TLT. She drives the firm’s work with The Chancery Lane Project, with whom she created the Built Environment Climate Contracts Tool – a freely available tool which guides users through the sustainable drafting available at each stage of the lifecycle of the built environment, from pre-planning, through development, to occupation of the premises. She frequently provides training to clients on climate conscious drafting, speaks at external conferences and writes for publications on this, and wider ESG issues. In 2024, she built a clearly defined internal programme with the introduction of eight ESG Ambassadors and a dedicated ESG hub to facilitate information sharing across the firm. The Ambassadors are responsible for ensuring that messages around ESG (in terms of what we are doing as a firm, how we are collaborating with clients on ESG initiatives, and how we integrate ESG into legal services) are communicated internally. Alexandra sits on TLT's Impact Committee, which oversees TLT's commitments to People, Planet and Places. Alexandra qualified in 2001 and has been a knowledge lawyer since 2010. She was the first ever knowledge lawyer at TLT to be promoted to partner in 2023.
