Professor Lisa Webley is Chair in Legal Education at the University of Birmingham, Head of the Centre for Employability, Professional Legal Education and Research (CEPLER) and Associate Senior Research Fellow at IALS, University of London.
Her research concerns the regulation, education and ethicality and professionalism of the legal profession, and broader access to justice and rule of law concerns including the use of new technologies by the legal profession and in the administration of justice.
Her research work has been commissioner and/or funded by the Law Society of England and Wales, The Legal Services Board, Bar Standards Board, CILEX, the European Commission, Ministry of Justice, Department for Trade and Industry, Innovate UK/ESRC among others.
